Jeff C. Morgan is a Custom Knifemaker from Southern California who has a niche for making custom practical working knives of the highest quality. Jeff has over 35 years experience making knives and has made a wide array of knives. He likes western style blades and often makes interpretations of historic and classical knife designs. Currently the majority of Jeff Knives are made of 1095 High Carbon Steel, differentially heat treated, and have his carbonized satin finish. All Jeff Morgan knives are completely handmade by Jeff personally. He also handcrafts all their leather sheaths from genuine USA oil tanned leather. Jeff Morgan’s quality and experience speaks for itself and really shines when using and handling these knives.
Presented is a Custom Jeff Morgan 1095 High Carbon Steel "Slim Jim Bowie" Knife. The "Slim Jim Bowie” is a large and sturdy knife, perfect for many outdoor chores and / or tactical tasks. It is crafted from 5/32" thick 1095 High Carbon Steel in Full Tang Construction. The Carbonized Satin Finished blade brings a raw approach to practical style. The 6" long Clip Point Blade is hollow ground and the knife's overall length is 11". The handle is Jigged Buffalo Horn set with brass pins. The "Slim Jim Bowie" Knife comes with a handcrafted Copper Rivet & Burr, Oil Tanned Saddle Leather Sheath. Both knife and sheath are made by Jeff C. Morgan in his California shop.
